$50 Million Buys A Lot Of Crayons
When Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-NY, found out that $50 million of the $787 billion stimulus package would be for the National Endowment for the Arts, she gushed, "If we're trying to stimulate the economy and get money into the Treasury, nothing does that better than art."
